Apple Springs Baptist Church
OUR MINISTRIES
Prayer
Prayer meeting is held every Wednesday night at the church, beginning at 5pm. It is a time of prayer, led by Bro. Nimmons, where members can pray for special prayer needs, followed by a devotional from the Bible.
Women's Bible Study
Our women's Bible studies are held semi-annually. Recent studies have focused on the book of Daniel and the book of Ruth. Studies have been held on Tuesday mornings in the fall and feature a Bible study, followed by a short exercise class.
Sunday school
Sunday school begins at 10am each Sunday morning. We have two adult classes, a children's class and a youth class.
Community service
We are very active in the community. Among our many outreach programs are our Crock Pot Fellowship, where we have a fellowship meal, followed by a faith-based movie, and our Community Food Pantry.
Youth
The youth meet every Wednesday at 6pm. Bible study rotates on a weekly basis between Apple Springs Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church Nogalus. The youth have a meal, followed by worship songs , followed by a Bible study.
Music
Apple Springs Baptist Church's music program includes many different facets. The choir helps lead in worship each Sunday. In addition, the choir performs musicals at Christmas and Easter. Several members of the church also perform solos and duets on Sunday mornings.
